GROWERS | THE WILLIAMS FAMILY
EOLA-AMITY HILLS AVA
FARMED ORGANIC
After decades of making wine in Northern California, Craig Williams and his family turned their attention to Oregon’s Willamette Valley. The family began exploring and in 2010, purchased two incredible east facing sites in the Eola-Amity Hills. The two Vineyards, X Novo and X Omni, were both planted with a notably diverse clonal selection of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and quickly became some of the best sites in the region.
In 2018, the family added an additional 40 acre site which sits adjacent to their X Novo Vineyard. The high density X Saxa Vineyard sits on an extremely steep, intensely-rocky volcanic slope that was originally planted to Riesling in 2005 by famed Australian Winemaker Brian Croser. The Williams’ grafted the established vines over to Aligoté and Chardonnay in the spring of 2018.
